Mobile Banking App

Our Online Banking service is a great convenience for those accessing it via a desktop or laptop computer, however, those on-the-go will find our Mobile Banking App to be not only a more convenient option for tablet, smart phone or Kindle reader access, but one that provides additional features as well.

Through our Mobile Banking App, members can do everything they can do with Online Banking (check balances, transfer funds, review transaction history and pay bills), but additionally App users can easily...

Remote Deposit Capture

Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) is a feature available through our Mobile Banking App.  This feature allows the user to deposit checks remotely, via a smart phone or tablet!  In order to be approved for RDC, a member must have a minimum of sixty days of membership with the Credit Union.  If this precondition is met, then the member may download our Mobile Banking App to their smart phone or tablet, and then apply for RDC access via the App.  To apply, the user must tap on the "Remote Deposit" tab within Mobile Banking and then select the "Sign Up" box below the login panel. 

Once approval is granted, access to RDC is available through the user entering established log in credentials.  In the process of submitting an RDC deposit, the user will snap a photo of the front and back of the check to be deposited.  All deposited checks must be endorsed as follows:  The payee on the check must match the name on the deposit account.  The check must be endorsed as it is written.  The restrictive endorsement "Remote Deposit Only" must appear under the endorsement signature, and the deposit account number and the acronym "DCFCU" must be listed under the restrictive endorsement.  Checks not endorsed in this manner will be rejected.

All deposits will be reviewed by the Credit Union and either be approved or rejected, with the member receiving notice.  Any rejected deposits will include a rejection reason.  Deposited checks are processed two times each business day, at 8am and at 2:30pm. All deposited checks should be kept by the depositor for a minimum of six months.

Guidelines for RDC Deposits:

  • Maximum check amount eligible for deposit: $2,500
  • Maximum cumulative daily check deposit total: $2,500
  • Maximum number of checks deposited per day: None
  • Per deposit fee to Member: .75 cents.

Once downloaded, many basic features are available without a personal log in, however, if you need to view account information or wish to conduct a transaction you will need to log in when prompted, using your existing Online Banking username and password.
